Your Personal Chef

Molly Scanlon

I have been a Chef for over thirty years having previously worked within the shipping industry. I have an administrative background and excellent accountancy skills which enables me to adapt well to a variety of clients and countries.

On a professional level, I have a Chef’s Diploma from Ashburton cookery school, where I passed with a distinction. I am classically trained having a solid background in French cuisine, having worked in France for many years. I have also cooked in Italy, Jordan, Iceland and Norway and have a good basic knowledge of a variety of world cuisines. Like most Chefs, I have a great love of traditional, tasty, classic dishes, but I am a capable of adding a wow factor when it is called for.

I am fully aware of allergens and hold a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Certificate.

I regularly enjoy stage placements and attend chef workshops to ensure that I  keep up to date and to expand my knowledge.

I have taught at cookery schools in the U.K. and Europe as well as presenting cookery demonstrations and judging at food competitions. I have published articles about my culinary tours in both Ireland and the Falkland Islands.

For more information about my food journeys feel free to browse my social media sites.
